2 Timothy 3:16 & 17
16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
17: that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
God is the author of the Bible. He revealed His truths to the disciples and the apostles. We are to study the Bible for ourselves. The word says its profitable in at least four ways
*Doctrine – that says studying the bible should teach us something about what God would have us to do.
*Reproof – we should be convicted when we are doing wrong
Correction – after the conviction, comes the correction. Do it right!
*Instructions – we are told, though God’s word what to do and what NOT to do. Read and follow HIS instructions.
That’s how you become complete!!! And then you are ready for every good work.

“Lord, teach us today HOW to study and follow YOUR word. We thank You for Your instructions, reproofs and corrections. Help us to be obedient to Your word. In the name of Jesus, amen!”
